CMAS Disciplinary Committee – Case DC 2016-01, Emmanouil Giankos
Spearfishing 17.05.2017The CMAS Disciplinary Committee has upheld the appeal lodged by Mr. Emmanouil Giankos against the decision disqualifying him from the XXX CMAS World Spearfishing Championship 2016.
Thus, the Disciplinary Committee has set aside the decision taken of the CMAS Technical Delegated, which found the Greek athlete guilty of infringing Article 4 of the Championship Regulation for having used a torch under the water.
The Disciplinary Committee comprising Mr Stefano Brustia, who has been designated President, Ms Fiammetta Orsi and Mr Camillo Ungari Transatti.
