End of October, the Algerian Federation (FASSAS) has organized a seminar with the participation of two members of the TC of CMAS.

The goal was to update the applicable Standards in Algeria in order to respond to its current needs, in accordance with the CMAS Standards.

The chairs of the FASSAS, the President Mr. Kader Chekroun, the President of the CMAS Technical Committee Mr. Jean Rondia (Belgium) and the Director of the CMAS Standards Mr. Léo Troiano (Switzerland), have taken part in this meeting.

After three days of intense and passionate work, the goal has been achieved and the meeting has been successfully concluded with general satisfaction.

The TC of the FASSAS shall proceed to the detailed setting up of this reform within six months. These modifications will allow the federation, its clubs and its instructors to reinvigorate the training of the different certifications.

The TC team of the CMAS is at disposal of all those federations who need technical aid both at theoretical and practical level.
