Press Release for the World Championship of Spear Fishing
With the participation of 22 Countries, it resurfaced in the Port of Santa Maria area, situated about 45 Km south of the city of Lima in Peru, the XXIX World Championship of Spear Fishing.
The competition took place on 1st. and 2nd. November in 5 consecutive hours in each day and the participants were the following Countries:

The Competition follows all CMAS standards and as no claims has been presented and no accidents reported, immediately after the issue of the final results as well the respective procedures for the anti doping control, been proceed with the CMAS permeation for the 3 first classified, as well the ceremony of the Official closure.
As an interesting detail is that, for the first time, we have in the “Podium” the 3 Athletes of the same team, Spain.
