Congratulations to Prof. Franz Brümmer, Scientist and President of the German Underwater Federation (VDST), for winning the Hans Hass Fifty Fathoms Award 2018! „His distinguished and on-going career in the fields of education, academics, research, sport and the environment stand out as beyond exceptional as does the thread that winds itself through his amazing narrative and that is his love of the ocean“ are the words with which the HHFFA-commitee honored his work. The award giving-ceremony will take place at 23th January 2019 at the BOOT fair in Düsseldorf.
