CMAS Accreditation by the UNESCO
Science 21.07.2015As part of their continuous collaboration on protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage, CMAS has been granted the accreditation of the Unesco.
The main goal of the cooperation is facilitating the application of the Convention of 2001 related to protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage.
It should be noted that the collaboration have started since 2012 with two important agreements signed with both the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) and the Commission for the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage.
