CMAS SOCIAL PROJECTS - "From Wrack to the World Record"

METU SAS Disabled athlete Ufuk KOÇAK, with the slogan of "FROM WRACK TO THE WORLD RECORD" in the 18th year of the great Gölcük Earthquake where three days stay under the wreckage and lost his two legs, dived in apnea -30 meters deep in the CMAS Free Diving Variable Weight Disabiled category, He broke "WORLD RECORD" by diving on the chairs of an old tea garden before the earthquake.
The record attempt was conducted by Russian (Igor OREL) and Italian (Ezio BARBERO) international referees, who were official observers of the CMAS.
We congratulate the athlete and who supported in any means.
