Death of Ing. Franz Medlitzsch, Former Vice-President of the CMAS

Dear sportfriends,
It is with great dismay we received the sad news that on February 12th, 2023 our long-time Commission President Ing. Franz Medlitzsch passed away. We are deeply affected and saddened. Our condolences go to his family members.
Franz Medlitzsch was Vice-President of the CMAS and a great supporter for our sport. Until 2009 he was the director for the underwater orienteering commission. With him we lose a pioneer for orientation diving.
