CMAS presents a redesigned web site as part of its "CMAS Diverline" web presence
confederation 18.04.2012
The CMAS website and our related on-line presence have been remade and redesigned as part of a long-term communication strategy. We improved our user-focused interactive communication which always serves as a guideline when establishing or managing the social community sites. It supports the understanding and the global promotion of the Confederation's core values and activities.
Customised "gates" for our users
The new site focuses more on the different needs of our visitors. Our aim was to let each user find the most interesting and useful information, based on his/her relation to CMAS. We created customised "gates" on the page which leads visitors to different thematic sub-pages including the most up-to-date and relevant information.
- For federations, members and partners related to CMAS
Recent information, news and documents concerning the federations operation and cooperation with CMAS. In the Members' Area we provide password protected sub-pages and access to special documents, files and databases of our Federation - For divers, athletes and visitors, familiar with CMAS activities
Up-to-date news and information concerning championships and scientific or technical life of diving with integrated social functions for easy sharing. - For beginners, interested in underwater activities
All useful information about Federations's activities, championships, CMAS certificates and training systems
Well separated micro-sites for various activities
Each commission and committee provides visitors separated sub-pages including restructured content, illustrated with emphatic visual elements. There are news, events, photos & videos and information about its operation.
Renewed training system
As part of these changes the Technical Committee introduces a completely restructured CMAS certification and training system and manual as well. Using this Manual the Committee would like to establish the most complete and up-to-date diver training standards that would make a contribution towards diving safety through proper education and training.
Follow CMAS on Facebook!
At the time of releasing our new website the official Facebook page of CMAS has been opened as well. Visit and like it and subscribe to our Youtube channel! By using these communication methods our aim is to create a dialog with divers and people interested in the world of scuba diving.
