CMAS Board of Directors Meeting on the 18th and 19th February  approved a number of important proposals in respect of 2011 World Championships, diving standards, organisational issues, 2010 budget and financial plan for 2011.

After the cancellation of the CMAS Games in Colombia more than half a dozen member federations present their candidatures for the individual World Championships. According to the decision of the Board the 2011 competition season will look as follows:

 

Next BoD Meeting will hear proposals about the future and organizational aspects of the CMAS Games concept, its frequency and preparatory timetable.

Board unanimously elected and approved Dr. Michel Leglise from France as CMAS' new Anti Doping Commission President.

Board approved the expulsion of  N. O. B., the  Dutch Federation NED/F00 if they do not get back in good standing with the Statutes and Internal Rules of CMAS by 31st March 2011.

The many-years discussion on homologated swimsuits comes to a fruitful end by the BoD decision approving two producers as CMAS's official suppliers from 2012. Detailed information will go to the federations soon.

Board gave a unanimous go ahead to projects to improve the performance of the Rome Office through an integrated IT payment-and-correspondence scheme, and approved the expansion of the corporate image improvement function of the CMAS website.

It was decided that the next BoD Meeting will take place in Rome, on the 20th May, one day before the Ordinary General Assembly of the 21st May 2011.
