25th European Finswimming Championship - Opening Ceremony

At the end of this training day, the representatives of 18 countries attending the 25th European Championships in Lignano Sabbiadoro gathered in the central square of the sports center for the opening ceremony orchestrated by Stefano MANZI.
After the traditional parade of flags and representatives of the delegations, the flag ceremony and speeches by the representative of the City, Carlo ALLEGRINI, chairman of the finswimming commission of the FIPSAS, championships were declared open by Mrs. Anna ARZHANOVA, President of CMAS.
Then, delegations were able to attend a great show combining music, water and fire jets. An original initiative of the organizers of the championships was delighted by all spectators.
