All of the CMAS International Judge Certificates before year 2006 have to be revalidated through a new refresher course

Per decision of the commission; All of the CMAS International Judge Certificates before year 2006 have to be revalidated through a new refresher course to be organized by CMAS Apnea Commission.

CMAS International Apnea Judge Course will be done at Canakkale, Turkey between 23-29 August 2010. The course will be done on the basis of Theory and Practice. The theory session will be all details of the rules and procedures of related CMAS and Apnea Competitions. The practical part will be done just as in a CMAS Competition but that will be on a competition; 2 days of JB and 2 days of Dynamic.

The place of the course will be the small city of Canakkale http://www.canakkale.gov.tr/English/index.html where the Troy Ruins and Gallipoli War have been founded. Especially the JB apnea competition will be done on the bay of Anzac (the famous bay of the Gallipoli war) http://www.canakkale.gen.tr/eng/engindex.html.

The cost of the course;

• The course fee is FREE.
• The registration fee is 150 Euro per person for the clerical works to be done (including T-shirts, paper work etc.)
• The accommodation is 90 Euro per night including; bed, breakfast and Dinner, possibly at the most cases that might also cover the lunch pack, transfers from and to airport or Bus Terminal and transfers from and to the competition areas.
• The preliminary registration just by sending an email to leventu@bilgigis.com with the filled attached ANNEX1-APPLICATION FORM to be done latest at the end of June and the payment to be done until the 2nd of August 2010 to the bank below (flight information can be send just before the payment).

Please note that The Turkish Airlines have got a flight from Istanbul to Canakkale (currently and might change in the summer) at 22nd August, 2010 16:15 TK2586  (http://www.turkishairlines.com/ ) and there is no plane at 21st. So we strongly suggest you to make your reservations as soon as possible.

In case that there is no seat on the plane (which might be possible because this region is a very popular region) you can come by bus from Istanbul to Canakkale at around 5 hours travel (22 Euros per person) and we can organise your bus tickets from here.
