50th Anniversary of CMAS

On the 14th November the Polish Underwater Federation with its affiliate "NUREK-Bytom" celebrated the 50th Anniversary of CMAS. Under the patronage of the late Cardinal Karol Wojtyla, better known in the world as Pope John Paul the II. a statue to the "Unknown Diver" was inaugurated. The celebration geatherd more than hundred divers from all over Poland. CMAS was represented by its Vice President who read the congratulating letter of the President of the Confederation.
