COVID-19 AND UNDERWATER HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2020 ANNOUNCEMENT
hockey 17.03.2020The organisers of the World UWH Championships have been in discussion with CMAS Underwater Hockey Commission [1] representatives concerning the rapidly changing situation caused by COVID-19.
Many countries have implemented travel restrictions as well as limitations on large gatherings. The Australian Government has just announced a ban on events over 500 people. With all the government
restrictions, we are looking at the feasibility of postponing the Worlds 2020, however we are monitoring the situation and seeking further advice from the Australian Government and CMAS.
