Three juniors have broken the world record during the 4th Round of the World Cup in GLIWICE
This round of the World Cup, organized this year by the Polish federation turned out to be yet another great success.
46 clubs representing 10 countries had answered the invitation. 281 swimmers, out of which 170 juniors have participated in the different races during the weekend. The swimming conditions were excellent in the 10-lane swimming pool.
As for the performances, 3 Junior World Records were broken. Martin MAZAC , who finished in 20"13 in LIGNANO at the end of March has managed to go under 20 seconds during the 50m Junior Bi Fins in 19"85.
Further 2 Junior World Records were established by the young swimmer Vera ILYUSHINA from the Novosibirsk Club: the 100m SF which she finished in 40"42 and the 200m SF Junior with her time, 1'31'98. The 200m SF race seems to be the subject to a great hassle this year as it's already the second time a new record has been established. The Ukrainian Anastasiia ANTONIAK (Aqualeader club, Kiev) finished in 1'32''74 in Eger recently.
